About This Course
The goal of this course is to promote trauma-sensitive school and classroom environments, by sharing information and strategies that will enable school professionals to help children to feel safe and supported. Providing a warm and positive environment can make it easier for children to achieve and grow. In this online course you will learn introductory strategies for how to support children who have experienced trauma.
The content is in the form of video presentations recorded by Healthy and Ready to Learn staff, along with resources, practice activities, and an accompanying workbook.
In addition, if you are an educator in New York State and require CTLE certification you may choose to take this course for credit and generate a certificate upon completion.
